By Kelechi Kelvin Abel | Published: 8 March 2026 | Updated: 8 March 2026

"I cut ticket, but one game spoil am." "My banker don green!" "Bros, you get booking code? I wan load am."

Nigerian betting has its own vocabulary, a mix of pidgin English, Bet9ja-specific terms, and universal punter slang. Whether you're new to betting or just confused by the lingo on Twitter, this dictionary has you covered.
