What Is the Bet9ja Promotion Code in 2026?
The Bet9ja promotion code for 2026 is YOHAIG. Type it into the "Promotion Code" field on the Bet9ja registration form, make your first online deposit, and you qualify for the 100% welcome bonus of up to ₦100,000. The code is free, it works on the Android and iOS app, the mobile site and desktop, and it is valid for new bettors in Nigeria only.
A promotion code is a special word that Bet9ja uses to link a new account to a partner and to the promotional offer that comes with it. It is not a coupon you buy and it does not change your odds. You enter it once, at sign-up, and that is it. For the background on why the code exists, see what is the Bet9ja promotion code.

How to Get the Bet9ja Promotion Code
You do not need to apply for the code, pay for it, or wait for an SMS. The Bet9ja promotion code YOHAIG is public, and you can copy it from this page right now. You will also see promo codes on affiliate sites, YouTube channels, X accounts and WhatsApp groups. Most of them give access to the same Bet9ja welcome bonus, so the code you choose mainly decides which guide you follow and who you can ask for help.
We recommend YOHAIG because every step on this page is written around it, and we check the code against the live Bet9ja registration form every week.
How to Use the Bet9ja Promotion Code YOHAIG When You Register
Registration takes about three minutes. Have your phone, a valid email address and your bank details ready, because the name on your Bet9ja account must match the name on the bank account you will withdraw to.
- Open the registration page. Use our Bet9ja registration link, or visit the Bet9ja website and tap "Register".
- Enter your personal details. Add your email, a password, your Nigerian phone number, your full name and date of birth.
- Use the code when registering. Type YOHAIG in the Promotion Code field. Bet9ja marks it as optional, so it is easy to scroll past. If you used our link, check that the field already shows YOHAIG.
- Submit and verify. Accept the terms and conditions, submit the registration form, then confirm your account with the SMS code Bet9ja sends.
- Make your first deposit. Fund your Bet9ja account with any online payment method in your own name. The minimum is ₦100.
- Stake your deposit once. Bet the full deposit on any sports market at odds of 3.00 or higher, as singles or multiples. When those bets settle, Bet9ja credits your welcome bonus.
Enter YOHAIG in the Promotion Code field before you submit. Bet9ja marks the field as optional, and it only appears on the registration form, so it cannot be added once your account is created.
Where to Enter the Bet9ja Promotion Code: App, Mobile and Shop
On the Bet9ja app
The Bet9ja app has over 5 million Android downloads and a 4.1/5 rating . Open the app, tap Register, fill in your details and enter YOHAIG in the Promotion Code field before you submit. Same code, same welcome bonus.
On mobile web and desktop
Go to the Bet9ja website, tap or click Register and scroll down the form. On small screens the Promotion Code field sits near the bottom, just above the terms checkbox. Read our guide to the Bet9ja old mobile site if your phone struggles with the full site.
In a Bet9ja shop
Bet9ja does not publish a shop count; outside estimates range from 10,000 to over 20,000 (BettingInAfrica and Afroduma, 2026). You can register at the counter and give the agent the code YOHAIG. The welcome bonus is tied to your first online deposit, so fund the account online rather than with cash at the counter .
What the Bet9ja Promotion Code YOHAIG Unlocks
The Bet9ja welcome bonus is a 100% match on your first qualifying deposit, capped at ₦100,000. Deposit ₦5,000 and the bonus is ₦5,000. Deposit ₦100,000 or more and the bonus stops at ₦100,000.
| First deposit | Welcome bonus | Total bonus wager (20x) |
|---|---|---|
| ₦1,000 | ₦1,000 | ₦20,000 |
| ₦5,000 | ₦5,000 | ₦100,000 |
| ₦20,000 | ₦20,000 | ₦400,000 |
| ₦100,000 | ₦100,000 | ₦2,000,000 |
Because the bonus must be turned over 20 times, a bigger deposit means a much bigger wagering target. Choose an amount you can comfortably afford to lose, not the amount that gets the biggest headline number.
Beyond the welcome bonus, every Bet9ja account can use the Multiple Boost bonus. Put five or more selections on one accumulator, each at odds of 1.20 or higher, and Bet9ja adds a percentage to your winnings on accumulator bets, starting at 5% and rising to 170% on the biggest slips . On top of that the operator runs ongoing promotions such as Cut 1, betBOOM, Bet Freeze and casino tournaments for Aviator and slots players. See our Bet9ja bonus code guide for each one.
Bet9ja Welcome Bonus Terms and Conditions
These are the rules that decide whether your bonus turns into withdrawable cash. They come from Bet9ja's published welcome bonus terms .
- New customers only. One account and one welcome bonus per person, household address, email, phone number and bank card.
- First online deposit only. Deposits via the transfer of funds option, or from a payment method in someone else's name, do not count.
- Deposit wager first. Stake the full deposit at odds of 3.00 or higher and let the bets settle. Split column bets do not count.
- Bonus wager (20x playthrough). Wager the bonus funds 20 times on sports at overall odds of 3.00 or higher. This turnover is what converts the bonus into cash.
- 30 days. Finish the wagering within 30 days of the bonus being credited, or the bonus is void.
- You can stake at most ₦10,000 of bonus funds on any one bet or event.
- The most you can convert from the sports welcome bonus into real money is ₦250,000.
- Sports only. The sports bonus cannot be used on casino games, so pre-match and live betting on football, tennis and other sports are where it works.
Worked example: you deposit ₦10,000 and stake it on a 3.20 accumulator. Once that bet settles, Bet9ja credits a ₦10,000 bonus. You then need ₦200,000 of settled bets at odds of 3.00 or higher within 30 days before the bonus can be redeemed and withdrawn. Our Bet9ja bonus terms page and bonus conversion guide explain how to track your progress and redeem.
Bet9ja Promotion Code vs Booking Code
People mix these up all the time. A promotion code is entered once, at registration, to link your new account to an offer. A booking code is a number generated when someone saves a bet slip, and you load it to copy their selections into your own bet slip. A booking code for a bet changes with every slip. A promotion code like YOHAIG stays the same.
"Winning codes" sold on social media are booking codes with a sales pitch. Nobody can sell you a guaranteed winning code. Read booking code vs promotion code for the full comparison, or the Bet9ja booking code guide to load one.
Can Existing Customers Use a Bet9ja Promotion Code?
No. The promotion code and the welcome bonus are for new Bet9ja accounts. If you already have an account, do not open a second one to claim the bonus. Bet9ja's terms allow one account per person, and duplicate accounts are closed with any bonus winnings removed.
Existing players still get plenty. The Multiple Boost, Cut 1 and odds boosts are open to every account, and Bet9ja sends free bet offers to eligible customers by email, SMS or pop-up. Check today's Bet9ja promo code page for what is live this week.
Bet9ja Promo Code Issues: What to Do If the Code Is Not Working
"I forgot to enter the code"
The code cannot be added after registration. Contact Bet9ja customer support and explain, but the standard answer is that codes must be entered at sign-up.
"The code is not working"
Check the spelling: Y-O-H-A-I-G. Make sure you are creating a new account, not logging into an old one. Clear any spaces before or after the code.
"My bonus did not appear"
The bonus is credited only after your full first deposit has been staked at odds of 3.00 or higher and those bets have settled. If you deposited by transfer of funds, or from someone else's account, the deposit does not qualify.
"I cannot find the promo code field"
Scroll to the bottom of the registration form. On the app, it sits below the personal details section.
Still stuck? Contact Bet9ja customer support by live chat, phone or email. The support team can see your account creation details and will confirm whether the code was applied.
Is the Bet9ja Promotion Code Worth Using in 2026?
For a new Nigerian bettor, yes, with one condition: only deposit what you would be happy to spend anyway. Bet9ja is licensed by the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, so the bookmaker itself is legitimate. The welcome bonus doubles a small first deposit, which is useful when most Nigerian bettors stake between ₦100 and ₦500 per bet .
The trade-off is the 20x wagering. If you stake ₦1,000 and get ₦1,000 in bonus funds, you will need ₦20,000 of qualifying bets before you see that money as cash. Treat the bonus as extra playing time, not free money.
Are Bet9ja Promotion Code Winnings Taxed in Nigeria?
No personal tax is taken from your winnings. Nigeria applies a tax on betting turnover, and that is paid by the operator, not the bettor. What you win and withdraw is yours, subject to Bet9ja's own rules on your first withdrawal, such as verifying that your account name matches your bank account.
Tips for Getting the Most From Your Bonus
- Set a bankroll first. Decide how much you will deposit this month and stick to it, whatever happens with the bonus.
- Keep your bet slip simple. A two- or three-selection bet at odds just above 3.00 clears wagering more steadily than a 20-leg accumulator.
- Track your progress. Check the bonus section of your Bet9ja account to see how much turnover is left and how many days remain.
- Know when to stop. Bet9ja offers deposit limits and self-exclusion. Use them if betting stops being fun.
Now you know how to get it. Time to use it.
